Maybe it's related to another issue that was reported a few hours ago #337. But not sure if that's the right solution for this case. You will need to set Alfred to use a custom terminal (Alfred Preferences -> Features -> Terminal) and paste my script in the bottom text area. And naturally, you can use this with other commands like mv, cp, etc. You should be able to use Hyper by using my script that you can find in the attached post. To use, open the Alfred search bar, type cd then the start of a folder name, e.g.

I've uploaded a workflow here that uses the File Filter to allow you to select a folder, the location of which will be the working directory of a new Terminal window that opens up.
